Final Race
For our final we had to incorporate what we learned about gears into our robots to make them go faster. We then were going to see how fast we can get the robot to go 10 feet and back. My partner and i first used a 24t gear and a 40t gear which makes a gear ratio of 1.6. We knew we could make one with a higher ratio without sacrificing too much torque. We then used an 8t and 24t which makes a gear ratio of 3. You can see the gears in the picture below.
